ACTION: Notice of Availability

SUMMARY:

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has assessed the potential environmental impacts for the proposed extension of the runway at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport (MCN) in Macon-Bibb County, Georgia.  The FAA has determined the project as proposed would not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and that an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not necessary.  An Environmental Assessment (EA) was prepared and a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI)/Record of Decision (ROD) was issued on May 28, 2021.  The EA and FONSI/ROD are available for review by the public for thirty (30) days electronically on the airport’s website at https://iflymacon.com/ and at the following locations:

Middle Georgia Regional Airport Conference Room provides professional convenient and affordable meeting space for groups of three or more. Reserve the conference room by the month, day or hour. This professional conference room is equipped with comfortable furniture, high-speed Internet, private wet bar, state-of-the-art presentation equipment to produce your best work. This prestigious conference room provides front raw seats of our runway and is nestled in the heart of Macon-Bibb County at Middle Georgia Regional Airport (MGRA).  

Cost

The Conference room is available at a daily or hourly rate. Checks will be payable to Macon-Bibb County. All payments are due prior to use. 

Per Hour - $55

Per Day - $250

*Anything rental over four hours is considered a full day rental. 

Deposit Fee - $100

*Refundable deposit fee upon returning room to original state.
