 CGTC- Central Georgia Technical College provides education for an eleven-county service area in central Georgia.  The school utilizes a semester-based academic year. The highest degree at Central Georgia Technical College is an associate agree. Robins Air Force Base Commodities Maintenance Group and Central Georgia Technical College will partner in a new aviation program that will produce skilled aviation workers for Georgia’s thriving aerospace industry. This Joint use, 200,000 sq. ft. facility will house the 42nd Commodities Maintenance Group.

 

 Embraer-  A Brazilian company that is one of the largest commercial aircraft companies in the world. Recently expanding their operations to Macon. They operate the 155,000 sq. ft. Central Ramp MRO facility. Estimating over 200 jobs.

 

 Lowe Aviation- Founded in 1946. Lowe Aviation is a full service Fixed Base Operation that has served Macon, handles refueling of transient aircraft and provides a weather and flight planning enter, waiting room for passengers, conference room, courtesy car for pilots, pilots lounge and supplies.

This alliance provides members the opportunity to have an open exchange of ideas on industry trends and to share best practices on providing world-class service. It also leverages the collective power of the alliance to negotiate attractive contracts with selected large supplies to the industry. This company inhabits the 79,691 sq. ft. MRO facility located on the Main Ramp. Their primary activity is large cabin aircraft maintenance, avionics, and interior modifications. Estimating over 150 jobs.
